It could be said that all coatings that are applied with the use of heat transfer are Thermal Sprayed coatings however on this page we shall solely address those coatings that are applied using a Thermal Spray Gun. In the main a Thermal Spray gun is used to deposit a range of abradable or sacrificial coatings. These coatings have many uses in the aerospace industry.
